Beginning today, February 16th, 2012, you may now book a reservation for the USS Arizona Memorial tour for individuals and groups effective March 7th. In addition, the new Passport to Pearl Harbor program which includes general admission to the USS Bowfin, the USS Missouri and the Pacific Aviation Museum is also being made available online.
This is a huge step forward. As we all know, building in the time for the lines has become part of the Pearl Harbor experience. The first come, first serve basis was always quite tiersome with waits lasting upwards of 3 hours during high traffic seasons. This new service will allow our visitors to maximize their time on our island by making advance reservations in a three-month period for a non-refundable reservation fee of $1.50 per ticket. Tickets must be picked up at the NPS ticket counter, located in the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center at least one hour before tour time. Individuals and families may reserve up to 9 tickets at a time and group reservations up to 65 people will also be available.
Reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
